Lilleth Glimcher (she/they) is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She creates experiential installation and performance, sculpture, film/video, choreography, and sound/music. Their work explores questions about race, gender, dreams, time, and the nature of reality. Lilleth is obsessed with destroying white supremacy, questions about our size within the universe, the relativity of time as a metaphor for our individual gaze versus our shared consciousness.
Lilleth's work has been shown at Abrons Art Center, The American Academy in Rome, 2018 P-E-O-P-L-E Festival Berlin, DAAD Galerie Berlin, National Sawdust, The Capri Marfa, Pace Gallery, Dixon Place, Ars Nova, the Westbeth Artist Building, The Flea Theater, Alpha Space, The Future of Storytelling, and myriad site specific locations. She has also assisted Ashley Fure, Ivo Van Hove, Robert Whitman, André Gregory, 600 Highwaymen, Lila Neugebauer, Niegel Smith, César Alvarez, Lily Whitsitt, Shira Milikowksy, and Teddy Bergman, among other artists across disciplines.
Lilleth is the founder and artistic director of YOU ARE HERE (@yah.world), centering QTPOC voices through transdisciplinary arts, healing, and community-building.
Lilleth graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Clinical Research Psychology and secondary in Dramatic Arts.
